Choose the intended contract and a valid target. Native terminal price alerts notify you; they do not execute a trading command.
Select a numbered step to zoom straight to that control.
Create an alert
In the terminal command bar, choose Alerts (the bell icon).
Confirm Contract, choose Trades at or above or Trades at or below, and enter Target price.
Optionally add a note, then choose Create alert. Check that it appears as Active in the list.
Review or cancel
Reopen Price alerts to inspect Active and Triggered entries.
Cancel an active alert you no longer need. A triggered alert is a recorded event, not a pending order.
Check the current market and your account before acting on a notification.
A QATS price alert is a notification. It does not open, close, or protect a position. TradingView webhooks are a separate automation feature.
Common questions
Is this the same as a TradingView webhook?
No. The terminal alert watches a QATS price condition. TradingView webhooks use a separate connection and message to request an account action.
The alert triggered. Where is the order?
A price alert creates a notification, not an order. Check the market and submit a separate trading instruction if needed.
You’re done when…
The alert appears with the intended symbol, condition and price. A notification is not an order.
