Read the account’s drawdown type and current floor. Equity and open exposure matter when measuring remaining loss room.
Select a numbered step to zoom straight to that control.
The floor
Find the maximum-drawdown type and current loss floor in your account rules.
Compare equity, not only realized P&L. An open position affects remaining headroom.
Do not copy a threshold from another plan: static and end-of-day rules calculate differently.
After the floor is reached
The platform records the reason and closes the affected account.
Check the threshold and event time in Dashboard and Risk center.
If a reset is available, a separate new account is created only after the reset is confirmed.
Common questions
Is the floor the same as today’s loss allowance?
Maximum drawdown and daily loss are separate rules. An account can reach its overall floor even when a daily allowance remains.
Does a profitable trade remove a recorded breach?
A recorded breach closes the affected account. Follow its available reset or review path; sending further orders does not restore it.
You’re done when…
You know the current account floor and understand that a daily reset does not erase the maximum-loss rule.
