Confirm the market and plan first. Crypto uses UTC risk days; TradFi uses the Chicago risk-session boundary.

Read your limit
Use Dashboard and Risk center for the current account value and remaining headroom.
Include open and closed P&L where your plan rules require it.
Check the trading-day and session boundary for your market in Rules & objectives.
If your account shows Disabled or No separate daily cap, that firm daily rule is not enabled. Personal daily stops and the maximum-loss floor are separate controls; check their own status.
When the limit is reached
When the firm daily rule is enabled on Crypto, reaching its limit breaches the affected account.
When a TradFi account has a firm daily limit, reaching it closes positions and pauses new entries until the next risk day, without itself breaching the account.
Maximum drawdown is a separate rule. Its breach is not an ordinary daily pause.
Common questions
Will my account resume after the daily limit?
TradFi’s firm daily loss closes exposure and pauses entries until the next risk session. Crypto’s firm daily loss is a breach. A maximum-drawdown breach is separate and does not resume as a daily pause.
Does changing the display time zone reset the limit?
No. Your display preference does not change the account’s risk-day calculation. Use the server’s remaining allowance and resume time.
