Set protection

  1. Open a position or the order form and find TP/SL.

  2. Set valid levels on the correct side of the market. For a pending entry, protection may be submitted as a bracket.

  3. After confirmation, check the working protective orders, not just the values in the form.

Changes and triggers

  1. When changing one level, confirm the other remains and the server accepted the new state.

  2. After a close or partial fill, compare the position size with protective order sizes.

  3. If protection fails, do not assume the position is protected. Read the refusal and set it manually.

WHEN YOU NEED A HAND

Common questions

The entry filled but protection was refused.

Review the separate protection result and the position immediately. Set valid protection manually if needed; an accepted entry does not prove that both protective legs were accepted.

I changed the position size. What should I check?

Compare the remaining position with all working stop and target quantities. Also confirm the other protective level remains after editing just one.

CHECK YOUR RESULT

You’re done when…

The intended SL and TP are confirmed, with quantities that match the protection you wanted.

If this does not match what you see, use Common questions above or contact support with the page and account details.
