Sign in with Google on the web and in the app

Use Continue with Google, sign in from the QATS Trader app, and fix Google sign-in messages.

Before you start

Use the Google account you registered with. Partner accounts sign in with email and password instead.

Sign in with Google on the website

  1. On Sign in or Sign up, choose Continue with Google and pick your Google account in Google’s window.

  2. A new account is asked to confirm the registration documents. If you decline, no account is created and you are not signed in.

  3. After sign-in QATS opens your dashboard. QATS keeps only its own session cookie; it never stores your Google password.

Affiliate partner accounts sign in with email and password only. Google sign-in is for trader accounts.

Sign in with Google in the QATS Trader app

  1. In the app, choose to sign in with Google. The app opens your phone’s browser at Google.

  2. Pick your Google account. The browser hands you back to the app, which signs you in.

  3. Finish within 2 minutes. A sign-in that took longer shows Google sign-in expired. Try again.

If Google sign-in fails

  • Update the QATS Trader app to sign in with Google: install the latest app version from your store, then try again.
  • Google sign-in could not be confirmed on this device. Try again: start the sign-in again from the app, on the same phone, without switching apps mid-way.
  • Open this sign-in link from the QATS Trader app: the link was opened outside the app. Start again from the app.
  • Password managed externally on Password & security means Google manages your password. Change it in your Google Account, not in QATS.

Common questions

I signed up with Google. How do I change my password?

Google manages it. Change it in your Google Account; QATS shows Password managed externally.

The app says Google sign-in expired.

The sign-in has to finish within 2 minutes. Start again from the app and complete the Google step without waiting.
