What you need to pass
Reach the profit target in net profit: after trading fees and funding, with every position closed. Open gains do not count.
Trade on at least the minimum number of trading days shown for your plan.
Meet the consistency target, if your plan has one: your best day may be only a set share of your total profit.
Stay inside the daily loss limit and the maximum loss for the whole Evaluation. Rules & objectives shows each figure for your account.
Figures differ by market and account size. The rules attached to your purchased account are the ones that apply, not another plan card.
Daily loss limit
- The daily loss counts the day’s closed results plus open positions, fees and funding.
- Crypto days run on UTC (00:00 UTC). TradFi days roll at 17:00 Chicago time, which moves with daylight saving.
- On a plan marked Breach, touching the daily limit fails the account; it does not reopen the next day.
- On a plan marked Pause, reaching it closes positions, cancels working orders and pauses new entries until the next session. That is not a breach.
- Funded accounts have their own daily limit, which can be smaller than in Evaluation.
Maximum loss and the floor
- Static: the floor stays at the starting balance minus the maximum loss.
- Intraday trailing: the floor follows the highest equity reached, open gains included.
- EOD trailing: the floor rises with the highest end-of-day balance and stops at the starting balance when the card says so.
- The floor never moves down at a new day. Equity at or below the floor breaches the account.
Trading days and consistency
- Under the any-trade rule, a day with a filled trade counts, even a losing one. Several fills in one day count as one day; an unfilled or canceled order does not count.
- Some plans count only days with net profit of at least a set amount. Rules & objectives names the rule for your account.
- Consistency is your best net day divided by your total net profit. Example: a $800 best day and $2,000 total profit is 40%. With a 40% target that passes; with a 30% target you need $2,666.67 total profit.
- Going above the consistency target is not a breach. It means you need more profit on other days before you can pass.
Other rules to know
- Cross-account hedging is not allowed: you cannot hold opposite positions on the same market across your accounts. Such an order is refused with CROSS_ACCOUNT_HEDGE.
- A plan can pause entries around high-impact news (NEWS_BLACKOUT) or cap daily profit. Rules & objectives says whether yours has either.
- A crypto account with no trade for the inactivity period shown on its plan, 30 days by default, is closed. That is not a breach.
- You can hold up to 5 active trading accounts.
Common questions
Does a losing day count as a trading day?
Under the any-trade rule, yes: a day with a filled trade counts. If your plan counts only profitable days, Rules & objectives says so and shows the minimum.
I reached the target but did not pass.
Close every position and check trading days and the consistency target. Net profit after fees and funding must meet the target with no open positions.
You’re done when…
You can name the target, the daily and maximum loss action, the trading-day rule and the consistency target of your own account.
