Use Chrome 130 or later (Edge and Brave work the same way) on a computer, signed in to prop.qats.us. QATS Trade works with prop.qats.us only.

Download QATS Trade
On a computer, open prop.qats.us → Profile & settings → External connections → Trade from charts → QATS Trade for Chrome.
Press Download QATS Trade. Chrome saves qats-trade-chrome with the version in its name, such as qats-trade-chrome-1.8.0.zip. You do not need to unzip it.
Keep this QATS tab open. The panel now shows three short steps and waits for QATS Trade.
Once QATS Trade is listed in the Chrome Web Store, the same panel shows Add to Chrome instead: press it, confirm Add extension in Chrome and go on to the Approve step. The download stays under Install without the Chrome Web Store.
Select a numbered step to zoom straight to that control.
Open chrome://extensions and turn on Developer mode
Click chrome://extensions in the panel. Chrome does not open chrome:// addresses from a web page, so the click copies the address.
Open a new tab, paste the address into the address bar and press Enter.
Turn on Developer mode at the top right of the Extensions page. Chrome accepts extensions from outside the Chrome Web Store only in Developer mode.
Select a numbered step to zoom straight to that control.
Drag the downloaded file onto the page
Drag qats-trade-chrome-….zip from the Chrome downloads button, or from your Downloads folder, onto the Extensions page. Chrome shows Drop to install.
Release it. Chrome installs QATS Trade by itself: nothing to unzip and no folder to keep. You can delete the downloaded file afterwards.
If nothing happens on drop, unzip the file, press Load unpacked and choose the unzipped folder. Keep that folder: Chrome then runs QATS Trade from it.

Check that QATS Trade is installed
QATS Trade appears in the list with its version and its switch on.
To update later, download the new version and drag it onto the same page: it replaces the installed QATS Trade and keeps your settings and connection.
Two QATS Trade cards in the list? Press Remove on the older one. A version before 1.6 cannot connect and must be removed.
Select a numbered step to zoom straight to that control.
Approve in the QATS window
Go back to the QATS tab. It finds QATS Trade by itself and opens a small QATS window. If it does not, press Connect with QATS in the panel.
Check that the code in the window matches the code QATS Trade shows on the QATS page. A different code means press Deny.
Choose the accounts QATS Trade may trade and press Approve. No API key is created, copied or pasted.

Trade from the TradingView chart
After Approve, a TradingView chart opens with the QATS Trade ticket at the top right.
The ticket follows the chart symbol and shows your account, equity and the QATS price. Choose Market, Limit or Stop, set the size and press Buy / Long or Sell / Short.
The size is in coins, USD or Risk $ (the dollars lost at the stop loss). The slider under it and its 25 / 50 / 75 / 100% buttons write the size for that share of the most this account can open now: free margin at the chosen leverage, within the plan’s limits. Customize → Size slider hides it.
Every order passes the same rules and risk checks as the QATS terminal. The ticket says before sending what QATS would refuse, such as a size past the most or below the minimum, and a refusal that still comes says why in the ticket.
Select a numbered step to zoom straight to that control.
Pin the QATS Trade button
The ticket reminds you once: press the puzzle icon in Chrome’s toolbar, then the pin next to QATS Trade.
The pinned button opens the ticket on other chart sites and leads to its settings. Press Got it to hide the reminder.

Common questions
Nothing happens when I drop the file.
Check that Developer mode is on and that you dropped the .zip itself on the Extensions page. Otherwise unzip it, press Load unpacked and choose the unzipped folder.
The QATS page keeps saying Waiting for QATS Trade.
Check in chrome://extensions that QATS Trade is switched on and shows 1.6.0 or later, then reload the QATS page. In another browser profile, press Connect with QATS in the extension’s settings.
Chrome warns about Developer mode extensions.
Chrome reminds you that the extension did not come from the Chrome Web Store. QATS Trade keeps working; once it is listed in the store, Add to Chrome installs it without Developer mode.
You’re done when…
QATS Trade is listed and switched on in chrome://extensions, the QATS page shows it connected to your account, and its ticket is open on a TradingView chart.
